Last week I had a great time participating in a wedding professionals open house at the American Airlines C.R. Smith Museum. The museum is an unusual place to have a wedding reception and can accommodate anything from small parties up to hundreds of guests. It is also available for private parties, corporate events, socials, fund raisers, etc. There are museum tours, but the biggest attraction (literally) is the classic DC-3 airplane in the main hall.
Special thanks goes to Toan Nguyen at City Kitchen Catering for hosting the event. There were about 50 couples that were invited to the event and we had several terrific vendors including: Helmutwalker Photography, Durham Video Photography, Wedding Decor & Design, and Mid Cities Florists.
